Mold Buildup on Natural Stone

As you can see in the picture – this shower was approximately 7 years old. A few months ago it started to get moldy. This was being caused by soap build up as well as skin dander accumulating in the tiles as they are fairly porous. We cleaned this using special soap scum removers designed for use on natural stone. We also used high temperature steam to clean the entire shower. This helped ensure that the mold was dead as well as cleaning the shower.
